Why are you so fixated on feces? I never said anything about feces or the very small about of water in normal feces. So what if there's any water in it? I'm talking about what the video's about: the nutrient value of? cola & sugar. I'm not talking about things, that, except by the greatest stretch of the imagination could be considered food, eg. feces & seawater. Let Me repeat: Drinking cola for hydration actually works. It's not the Best fluid, but it's infinitely better than seawater and feces.

Also, I never suggested drinking seawater in place of water. Don't try to put words in my mouth. I simply stated that non-diet soft drinks are 90+ % water and sugar. They certainly could be drank in place of water, especially in a survival situation. Straight seawater could not be drank as an alternative. And just because sugar is in many different? foods and drinks doesn't mean it is any less significant as a nutrient in soft drinks, so I don't see that you have any point there at all.

I am quite correct in my? definition of nutrional value. Oxygen is not a nutrient. Necessary for life in small doses, yes, but? not a nutrient. Have you ever looked at the Nutrition Facts tables that are printed on just about every packaged and processed food nowadays? Or have you ever taken any nutrition courses in school or read any authoritative books on the subject? The three major nutrients are Fat, Protein and Carbohydrate. The three minor nutrients are Vitamins, Minerals and Water. Facts.

This video isn't simply meant to be educational. It's demonizing the product at hand, and even? showing a specific product while it preaches it's misguided, unnecessary message. It's not like Coca-Cola is particularly worse than any other soft drink. "...essentially no nutritional value"? Bulls**t! All non-diet soft drinks actually do contain very high levels of two extremely important nutrients: sugar and water. Try living without either of those for even a week, and see how healthy you feel.
